The product

Payroll, compliance & expenses

Hours become payslips without a spreadsheet in between.

Check-ins flowing into a payslip: Net pay ₹18,420

How it works

Payroll & payouts, step by step

  1. Set the period

Pick the dates and the employees. The hours are already there.

  2. Review the run

Components apply, overtime is worked out, and anything odd is on the screen before it's money.

  3. Approve and pay

Payslips appear in the app, and the run exports to Excel for the accountant.

01

Payroll & payouts

Hours to payslips, without a spreadsheet in between

  • Built from the same records staff created
  • Components that apply themselves
  • An approval step that means something
  • A payslip keeps the figures it was issued with

What it doesn't do. Timix calculates and records pay; it does not move money. Bank transfers, statutory filings and the payment itself stay where they are — this replaces the spreadsheet between attendance and payroll, not your bank.

PF, ESI, PT & minimum wages

The statutory side of payroll, worked out — and the files to upload

  • PF and ESI on every payslip
  • Professional Tax by state
  • Minimum wages checked
  • Files ready for the portals

What it doesn't do. Timix writes the files; it doesn't file returns or move money. TDS and Form 16, Labour Welfare Fund and Bonus Act aren't built, and the bank file uses one general layout.

A payslip's PF, ESI and professional tax, and the PF, ESIC and bank files from the payout

03

Expenses, advances & loans

The small money that eats the month

  • Claims from the phone
  • Approved by someone, with a note
  • An advance is this month's own pay
  • Loans repay themselves
  • It lands on the payslip, not beside it

What it doesn't do. Receipt photos are attached to a claim but nothing reads them: there is no OCR, no mileage engine and no policy rules that auto-reject. A human approves every claim, which for this size of team is usually the point.

A salary loan a third repaid, and an approved fuel receipt

04

Full & final settlement

When someone leaves, what each side owes — and closing it

  • Both sides, netted
  • Kit that didn't come back
  • Unused leave paid out
  • Write-offs reach the books

What it doesn't do. The settlement doesn't work out the last month's salary — run that payout before deactivating.

A full and final settlement: what each side owes, and the net payable

05

Staff housing

Rooms, rent and bills — and the deductions that follow

  • Rent by the days stayed
  • Meter readings you can't get wrong
  • Straight to payroll, with a limit
  • Everyone gets a statement

What it doesn't do. Rent is only recovered through payroll — there's no separate online rent collection.

Three staff rooms and an electricity bill split between them on their payslips

See it for yourself

Twenty minutes on your own sites is worth more than any page about it.

Your roster, your gates, your pay rules — and we'll tell you where it doesn't fit as well as where it does.

An approved Timix payout with each person's gross, deductions and net
